  5. Spring Cleaning: Hotdogs and Hamburgers

While looking through some old sketchbooks from the past year I found some stuff that I had never purposed, so here you go. The porcelain hotdog is a project my mom did in college. It’s awesome / ridiculous and hopefully will be a sticker soon.

The first nursery rhymes were lullabies sung to help children sleep fall asleep. Then the sing songy rhymes helped children learn. Now Super Precious Art Gallery has asked artists to create a piece of art inspired by their favorite nursery rhyme. Come by Nave Gallery on Friday 3/22 from 7-9 PM for our opening reception. (The show will also be available for viewing on Saturday 3/23 from 1PM-5PM.) Directions and parking.
If you’d like, you can RSVP or share the show’s event page.

2NITE, Y’ALL!!! I’m in this show with a bunch of radicals, so come check it out!

Here’s a new skate montage put together by some of my friends. They’re all black belts in Tae Kwon Do and they’re pretty bad.

  8. Required Reading

Lately I have been trying to quickly generate and expedite ideas and drawings instead of dwelling on them. Required Reading doesn’t have anything to do with actual reading so don’t get your hopes up that there is actual literature on these pastel pages. Hopefully it will become a regular outlet for drawings and other media. I will give away a copy for the first 10 reblogs I get. I can’t imagine I’ll even get ten reblogs but it’s okay I know I suck.
